I’ve never flown private – what should I expect?

When you fly privately, you have the aircraft to yourself. You depart whenever you’d like and aren’t constricted by the airline’s schedule. We offer personalized service so you don’t have to show up early.

Our plane departs from the Signature Flight Support base, also located at 50 North Airport Drive in Buffalo, NY (the north side of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport).

If the plane is based in Buffalo, does it cost extra to pick me up at a different location?

Possibly. If we have to reposition the aircraft to your location, there could be a fee. However, it is possible that our aircraft may already be there, in which case you may not pay extra for the repositioning portion.

Is it cheaper to book a one-way or a return leg flight?

There could be significant cost savings in booking a one-way trip. There are several factors to be considered but 3D Jets will calculate the cost based on your specific criteria.

What can/can’t I bring on board?

You cannot bring any hazardous materials, such as chemicals, gasoline, ammunition, fireworks, etc., on board. A list will be sent to you upon booking your trip. Based on space, we can sometimes bring your pet, manual wheelchair, golf clubs or larger baggage with no additional fee.

How much luggage can we bring?

In general, each passenger can take one medium sized bag, and a carry-on – we will do our best to work with you to accommodate special requests.

How far can you fly?

We can fly over 2,000 miles non-stop depending on weather and passenger load, however, we can go farther with a fuel stop, which typically takes 20 minutes or less.

How many airports do you fly into/out of?

There are roughly 1,500 airports that we may be able to fly in and out of within the United States.

How often is the plane serviced?

Our airplane is maintained to strict FAA Part 135 regulations. In addition, a service check is completed by a certified aircraft mechanic between each flight.

How many people does the plane hold?

We have seven passenger seats plus one belted lavatory seat.

Will you arrange transport for me from the destination airport?

Yes, we can arrange transportation for you at your destination – please inquire upon booking.

Is catering included?

The aircraft is stocked with many snacks and drinks. Additional catering can be supplied for an additional fee.
