Commitment to Safety

Our pilots and aircraft adhere to the highest safety standards in the industry. Our 2007 Learjet 60XR is maintained to strict FAA Part 135 regulations. In addition, a service check is completed by a certified aircraft mechanic between each flight.

Each pilot attends FAA approved training at CAE Dallas, TX, twice a year: one for a full recurrent with ground and simulator testing and training; and the second for testing. In the simulator, pilots cover both normal and emergency operations. At the end of training, they are given an FAA required oral and practical exam. Pilots also do a flight check in the airplane with an FAA examiner once a year along with continuous in-house and computer based training. All of 3D Jets’ pilots have an Airline Transport Pilot certificate.

The aircraft has drop-down oxygen masks, a life vest at each seat, fire extinguishers in the cabin, and a first aid kit.  A passenger briefing card is provided at each seat to show the location and use of the emergency equipment and emergency exits. A safety briefing is completed by the pilots prior to each flight.

Plane Specs

Our aircraft is equipped with 8 passenger seats (including a belted lavatory) containing a two pilot crew. We are certified up to 51,000’ and typically fly in the 39,000’ to 41,000’ range.
